Takako Servo has worked for Sony Systems Design Corporation in Japan before her studies abroad. There she gained experience on ICT.
After her studies in the United Kingdom Takako worked in Konami Corporation in Japan specialising in licensing and intellectual property rights issues. She has also gained an experience from the field of marketing (marketing research and planning) by working for Asahi Agency in Japan; her latest position being their European representative. After a few years freelance translator experience in Finland, she founded Wa Connection together with Kimmo Servo.
Takako has a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Hiroshima Prefecture University, and an M.A. in International Studies and Diplomacy from School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She has a family of two children.
Apart from international issues her interests include reading, listening to jazz, running and photo shooting.
Kimmo Servo has a strong experience in Japan due to his studies and working experience. He has worked for five years with Nokia in Japan. His experience covers several company functions including marketing and market research.
Kimmo's latest position in Nokia was Product Launch Manager, Japan. After Nokia Kimmo gained experience on the Finnish automobile market (eg. Mitsubishi) while working as Director of Satakunnan Autotalo Oy group.
Kimmo has a B.A. degree in Japanese and Economics from School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and an M.A. in International Studies and Diplomacy from the same college. He has a family of two children. Apart from Japan and East-Asia his interests include skiing, reading (history), gourmet and wine culture.
